San Diego, CA (May 30, 2024) – A fatal bicycle accident reported in the San Diego area on Wednesday, May 29, claims one person’s life.
Official reports indicate that at around 7:40 p.m., a bicyclist was traveling in the area of Interstate 805 Freeway near Palm Avenue. For unknown reasons, a car traveling through the area struck the bicyclist. One person involved in the accident sustained fatal injuries and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene by responding authorities. At this time, the incident is being investigated by California Highway Patrol troopers.
